Competition Videos
Video #1: Poster Session
In order to have a smooth Poster Session without delays due to technical issues such as bandwidth or screen sharing, we require all participants to send us a short video summarizing your research approach and trending findings.
The Poster Session Video must be maximum 5 minutes long (longer videos will be trimmed) and may feature you presenting your poster (or up to three slides with scientific content). Unlike other years, this time it will be possible to briefly show your research in operation, preferably in robots. Just remember to keep things scientific.
Teams ***MUST*** send an email to the Organizing Committee (oc@robocupathome.org) with the Poster Session Video. Please fill in the following information:
League: [ DSPL | OPL | SSPL ]
Link to video:
The e-mail subject should be: [@Home2021-Poster] (YourTeamName)
**** Deadline: Sunday, June 20, 2021 23:59 GMT *****
Video #2: Robot Inspection
This year we have no physical robots, but that does not mean that all virtual robots will be operational right from the get-go. For this reason, we kindly request all SSPL and OPL teams to send a video solving one of the rulebook tasks (Clean Up or Go-get-it!) within the docker container in the same computer that will be used for the competition.
The length of the video must be of maximum 3 minutes (it can be speed-up) and must clearly show the robot successfully executing task.
OPL and SSPL teams ***MUST*** send an email to the Organizing Committee (oc@robocupathome.org) with the Robot Inspection Video. Please fill in the following information:

The e-mail subject should be: [@Home2021-Inspection] (YourTeamName)
**** Deadline: Sunday, June 20, 2021 23:59 GMT *****
Video #3: Open Challenge
This year, the Open Challenge will have the same format as the Poster Session Video. Participating teams are invited to send us a video of up to 7 minutes featuring their physical or virtual robot solving whatever you want! We want to see the highlights of your research working in the custom scenario of your preference attuned for success. In contrast with former years, slides other than the 3-seconds team name (see remarks below) are strictly forbidden.
Since the purpose of the video is showing up robots solving complex tasks and doing amazing feats, the “lecturing” time is capped to 1 (ONE) minute and must be used to explain only those highlights that are mandatory to understand what is going on. People standing and explaining scientific stuff while the robot is inactive is strictly forbidden and such videos will be rejected. In the video, the robot must solve exactly 1 (ONE) task that may require executing several goals (e.g. a 3-goal GPSR command is acceptable). Unlike qualification videos, recording from previous competitions cannot be used.
After presenting each video, there will be 3 minutes for a brief Question & Answer session.
If you choose to participate, your team ***MUST*** send an email to the Organizing Committee (oc@robocupathome.org) with the Open Challenge Video. Please fill in the following information:
